January 2024 Board of Directors Meeting
DHPO, Inc. Board Meeting

Time: 6:30 – 9:00
Meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. and quorum was established. Board of Directors present: Tom Bowles (President), Ginney Regan (Treasurer) Lauren Fulton (Secretary), Members at Large: Kathy Bondesen, Larry Falter and Lash Russell (via phone), and ECC Representative: Dave Jacobs.
Treasurer’s Financial Report – Ginney Regan
2023-24 Dec Closing Handouts - Comments (Handout of Assets & Distribution/Receipts sheets – 1 page each)
Discussion of current fiscal account actions and results. Post Winter Social expense summary.
Properties for Sale or Market – Lot 70 remains on market (was going to close Dec 15th, 2023), Lot 156 on Market 8/25 now off market, and Lot 169 sold 12/8/2023, Lot 158 closing Feb 28, Lot 106 is on market. Three (3) properties are under Long-Term Rental – Lot 45, 92, and 116.
Welcoming Committee – Three new owners yet to meet, Lot’s 119, 169 & 191. Others upon occupancy.
Fire Mitigation Grant Fund Distribution Status – Groups 1 through 4. (all checks have been cashed now)
Consideration for semi-annual meeting - we may want to approve higher budget for Winter Social due to increasing costs
Secretary’s Report – Lauren Fulton
2023-24 Current Fiscal Year active membership count – 84 property lot owners. (2022 Dec closing was 85). Memberships for 2021-22 was 114, and 2022-23 was 98. (Wagner & Ruehle by end of Jan)
Website Status and Other Business (Election candidate postings and any updates or notables)
Deerfield Directory 2023-24 Publication – 50 Hard Copies distributed in December as residents requested.
Fire Mitigation Grant Status – Tom Bowles & Ginney Regan
Summary of Resident Participation and Mitigation Activities with Colorado State Forest Service Representatives. (Front Range Arborists contractor managed by CSFS.)
Promotion of Wait List to utilize Grant Funds.
ECC Activity – Dave Jacobs (ECC member)
Proxy Board of Director appointment of Rich Love to replace Darrell Gettman finishing service 1/31/2024.
Team succession plans for other concluding members. New volunteer recommendations by Board appointment.

Annual Meeting & Board Elections – Thursday February 8th, Franktown Fire Station
Agenda Discussion – DHPO business and executing Board Elections
Requested volunteers to count ballots, as current Secretary is running for Board position
Continued outline / timetable requirements for candidate nominations and postings.
Final strategies for recruiting resident volunteers and additional members.
Post new Board Member handover plans.
